About Rewind
Rewind turns a church's sermons into a living platform. Every message is automatically ingested, transcribed, and turned into a structured, searchable, cited archive — then put to work for everyone who learns from that preaching.
What it does
For members: structured overviews, scripture references, a chat grounded in what was actually preached, personal devotionals, and search across the whole archive. For groups: ready-to-use discussion guides. For teaching teams: Rewind Studio — planning, drafting, practice, and research, all grounded in the church's own corpus. And for seminaries and church planters: study and research tools across a real church's preaching.
How it works
Rewind connects to a church's YouTube channel (or its podcast audio) and ingests each new sermon. It builds an overview, extracts the scripture references and topics, and indexes a timestamped transcript so every later answer can cite the exact moment it came from. Members ask questions and read devotionals through the week; staff plan and prepare in Studio against everything the church has already preached.
The AI is a study aid, not the pastor
Overviews, devotionals, group guides, and chat answers are generated by AI (specifically Anthropic's Claude) from the transcripts of publicly-available sermons. The AI never speaks for the pastor; it summarizes and locates what was actually said. Always trust the sermon over the summary. A church's own staff drafts and rehearsals in Studio stay private to that staff — never shown to members, never put in search, never folded into the shared archive.
